ReplyDeleteAll these various newletters are about the same tpic but are described diffrently. one side can be Democratic, Republican or neither. The first article was neither conservative or liberal. It said that President Obama had vowed to bring justice to those attacked in banghazi. Hilary Clinton stated that Washington had nothing to do with the video. The 3rd article was liberal; Obama called Libya's Mohamed Magariaf and thanked him for his condolences for the three deaths. The 4th article was very conservative saying that Romney ratches up cristicism of Obama on initial response to the embassy attacks. Romney slammed the initial U.S embassy statement "disgraceful" and said American should NOT appoligize for our "values". The last article was liberal saying that Romeny tends to "shoot first and aim later" suggesting that Romney dosent think before he speaks and says things whitout support.
ReplyDeleteEach of the articles have their different views about the attacks in Libya. In one of the articles, there is a video of Obama saying that justice will be done. It is said that the United States will be releasing warships for the search of the killers of the four American embassy workers. Marines have been put on the scene to help the security of America. Romney's reaction to this event was that it is "disgusting". Romney said the US embassy statement was disgraceful. Another article stated that Romney does not think when he does something and he tends to just act upon a situation.
ReplyDeleteEach of these videos show some type of response from Mitt Romney or President Obama on the attacks in Libya. Article three and four show how Mitt Romney made unwise comments during this situation. The third article especially showed in a video of how Mitt Romney responded to the attacks by going against President Obama's administration. I think that all the articles were more liberal because they did not really show President Obama responding bad in this tough situation.
ReplyDeleteAbout different points of view led to outburst of violence in Libya and Egypt. Romney commented about how Obama handled the situation trying to make it a political issue to win the election, while Obama saw the attacks that happened not as a political issue but as a global issue. Obama tried to apoligize for what was written and that those words were not the words or views of all Americans. Romney I feel is liberal because he is using the incident for his own campaign, where Obama is conservative in that he does not want to expand or fuel the violence but just stop it.
ReplyDeleteRomney and Obama have approached the attacks in Libya in two different ways. Romney has seized this opportunity to criticize Obama's course of action, and Obama has tried to keep the peace while emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. NBC seems to be a source without too much bias since they showed both Romney and Obama's point of view in a fair light. NBC plainly stated Romney's views and what his ideal course of action would be. They then showed how Obama felt Romney's words were irresponsible in a clear and unbiased manner. CNN, however, portrays Obama in the best light possible by stressing his good points. Fox, on the other hand, fully supports Romney and his cause. Specifically, Fox criticized Obama saying "if [Egypt] is not an ally, why do we continue to give them billions of dollars in aid?"
ReplyDeleteThe first article doesn't have much tone to it at all. It mentioned President Obama's statement but it didn't have much favor in either parties. The third article is clearly liberal, it praises the President for taking the time to apologize and for not reacting right away. The President wanted to wait a day to make sure not to take away from the 9/11 memorial day. The fourth article is blatantly conservative. Right off the bat it starts out by saying that Romney is criticizing the reaction of the President and the event itself. It completely focuses on the wrongs of what happened which is understandable but also a bit threatening. The last article is quite liberal, the title being "Obama responds." It criticizes Romney's need for action without thought.
ReplyDeleteThe con.flict in Lybia affected Obama and Romney speech because it made obama have to talk more about forgein affairs. In one of the videos Obama speaks about action being taken. Also explained how some libyan helped bring many americans to safety. In another video Romney try to critizes Obama for not taking action on the day of the attack at the american embassy. He also talks about americans distancing themselves from attacks and not to hestitate to regents. The liberal side of things was shown in Obama way of handling things. Romney had more of the conservative side in his speech
ReplyDeleteIn the first article, I didn't feel as if there was favor in a specific party because nothing was mentioned that would make me believe that the article's view was more towards a specific party. In article three, there is somewhat of an observation towards President Obama because, the article shows respect for President Obama for apologizing in a way that he did. In the fourth article, I actually noticed that the article's view was conservative, obviously because of the fact that Romney criticized President Obama's reaction, in which it denotes a lot of wrongdoings caused from the President. In the fifth article, I think, but I am not sure, that the article is liberal because, Obama responding would show that Romney's actions would be clearly criticizable in a way that would allow President Obama to quickly respond in the best way possible.
ReplyDeleteThe articles were based on the violence attacks in Libya. However, in one of the articles there was a video where President Obama said that justice will be done. Presidents Obama view seamed to be liberal. These articles also refered to Romney's attack on the President Obama's reacton to the violence.Romney's said that the President was some what a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteThe current conflict is that the United States ambassador to Libya was killed along with three other Americans. Four diplomats died in the Benghazi mob attack on the US Consulate. The articles have different views on the attacks in which the NBC article on Romney is liberal because he spoke against Obama instead of supporting the President. Romney should have been respectful and let Obama speak first. I believe that the Fox, Yahoo, CNN, and the NBC article concerning Obama’s response to Romney are conservative because it shows Obama’s want for justice without speaking against Romney. Obama follows certain procedures before speaking to the public, unlike Romney who “shoots first and aims later” without backing up his facts.
ReplyDeleteThe first article seems to be a neutral article not leaning either way. The third article is is promoting President Obama's reaction to the riots. The fourth article is a more conservative article showing how Mitt Romney had criticized President Obama's initial reaction to the riots. The last article is a left leaning article because it shows Obama's new reaction to the riots.
ReplyDeleteThe first and second articles barely spoke about the president's plan of action. The third article featured more of what the president plans on doing and shows how he is in my opinion "somewhat" taking action upon this matter. In the last link of the video Mitt Romney is bashing the President left and right to obviously gain the support of his voters. I personally feel as if the president doesn't know what to do because this all simply fell on his lap at the worst possible time. He is stressed like any other individual would be and is scrambling for some plan of action.
ReplyDeleteThere was an attack in Libya in which Libyans killed the US ambassador and 3 members of embassy staff. The attack was formed by a group angered by a film insulting the Prophet Mohammad made by an American. There are also claims that the White House had received credible information warning them 48 hours prior to the attack, which the government will, of course, deny.
ReplyDeleteObama does not want to withdraw our aid from Libya, or blame all the people for the acts of a group. Obama has said justice will be done, but hasn't really shown it yet. Romney has made some controversial statements that have sparked some anger and people are saying he is being insensitive. Romney is more for going and attacking Libya in response to the attacks. Romney holds Obama responsible for what has happened.
The first article seemed to just state the facts without taking a political side. The second article seems to be more conservative because they don't seem to be on Obama's side, they're wondering when he will toughen up and take a stand over the attack. The third article was a liberal opinion. The fourth article seem to be in the middle of conservative and liberal. I feel like the last article was definitely leaning towards the liberal side, they seem to be more pro Obama.
Every author for these articles had their own opinions on this attack. Some of these authors favor one party more than the other. The first article did not choose a party to favor more. The fourth and fifth articles explain how Romney attacked the President and how did the President respond.
ReplyDeleteIn Libya, a group of Libyans attacked and killed an American ambassador. The authors in the articles all had different opinions and different comments about the attack. The first article just addressed the issue, while the all the other articles were each written very biased towards one party. Some articles talked about how Romney attacked Obama saying how the attack was his fault.
ReplyDeleteThe articles both have Conservative and liberal views on the attacks there is also one article that does not have Conservative or liberal views it is just stating the facts. The conflict is that Romney is saying Obama is apologizing for our values, meanwhile what he is actually talking about is a statement that was made by the Us embassy in Cairo before the attacks. Obama had stated that it appears that governor Romney did not have his facts right. The statement Obama made after the attacks was " We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act, and make no mistake justice will be done"
ReplyDeleteThe attack on Libya gave Romney a chance to criticize the way Obama was handling it, while Obama talked about the attack in a way as to not cause a frenzy, very peacefully and calm. NBC didn't seem to be leaning in any direction of a favorable party, the channel showed both views eequally without favoritism. CNN seemed to emphasaize Obama's good points and be more pro Obama, while fox was clearly Republican. They mentioned such issues as to why Obama gives momey to egypt if Egypt is not considered an ally. The attack also caused Obama to speak more about foreign affiars wich could greatly affect his campaign.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that has occurred in Libya , started when with the anger of protesters after seeing an online film which as considered offensive to Islam. The filmed showed their prophet Mohammed as an child molester, womanizer, and a killer. Which lead to the burning of the American flag on 9/11 , and the killing of U.S. ambassador and three embassy staff death. Romney responded very negative towards how Obama handled the situation. He felt as if Obama should of addressed what had happened right there and then. The Obama administration didnt want to lose focus on 9/11 and respond to the public and inform what had happened after.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict that occurred in Libya was that four Americans died. One of them was an ambassador of the United States of America. The group that killed our ambassador was an angry terrorist group. They killed him because they were angry about a movie that the United States made to embarrass their prophet Mohammad in which they cause him to look like a child molester and also killing people.
ReplyDeleteThis gave Romney the chance to bash Obama and make himself look good. When i was watching this video the line, "Don't say something unless you get your facts straight" coming from President Obama stuck out to me the most. I felt that these would be the words i would have said if i was him.
In Libya, a group of angry protestors who were upset because the video that was posted against the prophet muhammed attacked the United States embassy and ultimately killed the American ambassador. In these atricles there are both liberal and conservative views and are both republican and democratic. This was a chance for both candidates to gain some ground. Obama wanted to wait to discuss the situation in respect for 9/11. Romney used this as a chance to attack obama and critisize the way he handled it without realizing what he was saying. Some articles feel obama was right and romney was wrong and vice versa. They are both attacking each other. All of these articles are taking sides based on the candidates actions or lack there of.
